Rarely happens when expectations meets reality. In this case i got even more of what i was expecting. Fototec lens is amazing and it is really light.
Great sunglasses! The AC red lens is perfect for pickleball on a sunny day without making everything too dark. The adjustable nose pads are fantastic and made the sunglasses fit perfectly for me. The z87.1 certification is a bonus. I am planning to buy another pair.
Found these quite by accident and have been pleasantly surprised. They are my go-to golf glasses and perform just as well or better than big “name brand” glasses that cost four times as much. I will probably buy a couple more pair if they hold up. I do wish polarized lenses were an option. Overall, however, I’m pleased with them.
Not very dark at all . Find myself squinting a lot in full sunlight. I was pretty underwhelmed with the original clarion lenses and the Fototec lenses are worse .
Wow! I am blown away at the quality of the polarized lens and how good it looks! I designed my own and it was so much fun! I absolutely love the sunglasses! In the past, I would wear nothing but Ray-Ban’s but that is in the past!

Prospective buyers of the prescription lens version of the Sanctum shades should take note of the shape of the installed lenses. The lenses don’t extend to the edge of the frame. There is a considerable gap between the prescription lens and the frame causing a “badger eyes” look for the shades. I wish I had paid closer attention before buying as the Rx version of the Sanctum doesn’t share the sleek and cool look of the non-prescription version.
As the title implies the sunglasses have a chance to be great. The biggest thing holding them back that I missed when ordering is no polarized lenses. It’s a pretty big let down in my opinion. Overall they seem well built and are extremely light weight. I’m happy yet extremely disappointed at the same time.
The optics are excellent. The fit is very comfortable. It took a minute to figure out the nose piece adjustment, but once I did they fit perfectly. I wasted a great deal of money on Maui Jim's... Wish I'd found you guys sooner!
