I purchased these glasses for biking and birding. I have dry eye and need wrap glasses when it’s windy plus I need readers to see birding apps and my bike speedometer. I like the fact they adjust to light levels; wish they were a bit darker in full sun.
They are a bit large for my small face but don’t slip. I like the quality, this is the 3rd pair of Tifosi glasses I own.
My Tifosi readers are a game changer. I could no longer read my bike computer other than the speed, so texts and GPS guidance were features I couldn't use. I would read my stats at the end of a ride but not during. With my Tifosi readers I see everything! there is no downside. They are comfortable, reduce sun and glare, and allow me to read my Wahoo. I'm not one to leave reviews but Tifosi went above and beyond. My first pair of Veloce readers had a problem- the lens fell out while riding. I contacted customer support by email and they responded immediately, offered me a Crit model replacement, and sent it out same day. I am beyond satisfied with both the product and the stellar service I received.
Tifosi replaced my lenses for the second time. I think the design is not very good but they suggested I buy a different pair which I did. Time will tell whether these are any better.
When my older Tifosi glasses required replacement I reached out for options. I recently had cataract surgery and no longer wear contact lenses and needed 2.5 readers. I love these glasses. Reading my Garmin and using the Tifosi readers for cue sheets and Map My Ride is no longer a problem. Service and support from the customer service department was excellent. The price was right and I received my glasses in less than a week.
The Fototec lenses are dark enough for bright sun but light enough for riding in the woods late in the day. The reading correction is what I needed to read maps, my cycling computer, and my watch.
