I am a huge fan of the original Moab so of course I wanted to try the Lite version. These are the sleak, light weight, racing version of an already great pair of sunglasses! I don’t even notice these are on my face!!! Fantastic!
I've been wearing my Moab Lite's pretty exclusively this summer and they have been great. I am a big fan of the shield style, and the sizing on these is perfect for someone who regularly needs things in a size small. I have the Sahara with the Gold Fototec lens. The lens looks great and is awesome for days with intermittent clouds and changing weather. I recently wore them on a day that started out very overcast, and ended with a sunburn, and I never felt like I had the wrong glasses for the light conditions.

Reasonable price, overall quality comparable to more expensive brands. Come in a very nice packaging; sticker included. Stylish, solid frame. Comfortable fit, lightweight materials. Large eye coverage, great protection for mountain biking / cycling. Lense help reduce eye fatigue; quick lense transition when going from shaded to exposed areas. Seemed durable. Recommended.
I bought these wanting a lens for all light conditions (Fototec.) I went with the light night 82/14 light transmission vs the clarion gold 50/12. Simply put the lens doesn’t get nearly dark enough for sunny conditions and often there’s a glare and I find myself squinting. I don’t think the 2% difference between the night and gold lenses would make a difference. I expected a much better lens for the price. On the pro side, the field of view and protection is great for the Moab Lite style and low light visibility is excellent. The fototec lenses are good for mostly low to medium light, mostly sunny conditions will require a different lens.
