WATKINSVILLE, Ga. (May 20, 2009) – The Tifosi Optics Slip has scored a hole-in-one with PGA TOUR Partner’s Club Members who collectively gave it a 98 percent approval rating in a recent field test.
The PGA TOUR Partners testing pool is composed of club members wishing to provide in-depth feedback for the latest golf equipment and accessories. Members rated the Slip on its various features including a lightweight frame, adjustability and interchangeable lenses. Of the rated features, testers liked the Slip’s golf-specific lenses the most, scoring them 9.5 out of 10 for lens quality.
Member Scott Ramsey said the interchangeable lenses were “great in any condition on the course from cloudy to bright.”
Tester Robert Woo commented that his lenses were “very helpful on the green to see all the little bumps, mounds, etc.,” and that the Slip offered “great total eye protection” with the wraparound design.
“The PGA TOUR Partner’s Club Member-Tested program is a great way for us to stay in tune what avid golfers are looking for in a pair of sunglasses,” said Tifosi Optics CEO, Joe Earley. “We use tester feedback in every step of our
design process.”
The Slip with golf-specific lenses retails at $59.95 and is featured in the June/July issue of PGA TOUR Partners magazine. For more information on the Slip or to find a local retailer, visit www.tifosioptics.com.
Tifosi Optics, Inc. was founded in 2003 after CEO Joe Earley noticed a need for a technologically advanced, value-oriented eyewear brand in the optics market. Tifosi currently has more than 3,000 U.S. retailers and distributes in 32 countries worldwide.

WATKINSVILLE, Ga. (April 6, 2009)-After an exciting four days of competition, LPGA player and Tifosi sponsored athlete Brittany Lincicome has won her first career major at the Kraft Nabisco Championship in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
At the beginning of the day, Lincicome trailed fellow Americans Cristie Kerr and Kristy McPherson but kept the gap close enough to regain control with an Eagle on the 18th hole.
“It just came down to 18, and luckily my length is a strong point and I bombed it out there and went for the green,” Lincicome said of her winning 275 yard drive.
Lincicome wore the Tifosi Pavé throughout the tournament. The Pavé model comes with three interchangeable golf-specific lenses for various playing conditions and is a favorite of hers because of its open lens design and deep lens cut.
A visibly ecstatic Lincicome took the customary victory plunge into the water surrounding the 18th green at the Mission Hills Country Club-after removing her favorite pair of Tifosi glasses of course.
Lincicome travels to Mexico April 23-26 for the Corona Championship where she will compete for a $1,300,000 purse. Keep up with Brittany on her website www.brittany1golf.com.

WATKINSVILLE, Ga. (April 2, 2009)-LPGA player and Tifosi sponsored athlete Brittany Lincicome has started the 2009 season off with a bang by leading the first LPGA major of the year, the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
Ending the day 6-under par with a 66, Lincicome has three players hot on her heels and three days of play to go. Given the fierce competition, Linciome was surprised but pleased with her score.
“If you would have told me that this morning I would have taken it and ran,” she said. “Obviously it’s a major, so it’s going to be playing long. The rough is going to be thick. Even par or 1 or 2 under I would have been completely satisfied.”

WATKINSVILLE, Ga. (November 3, 2008)—Tifosi Optics has once again earned the prestigious PGA Tour Partners Club Member Tested Seal of Approval.
The Ventoux earned a 98 percent recommended rating from the testing pool which was comprised of PGA Tour Partners Club magazine subscribers.
Each tester was asked by PGA Tour Partners to evaluate the Ventoux in categories such as style, performance and quality. Testers were given the opportunity to provide written feedback after wearing the glasses.
Many testers including Bob Buhowski liked the versatility of the three golf-specific interchangeable lenses that accompany the Ventoux. “Using the glasses gave me a better means to be able to pick up the ball flight even looking into a haze which is usually when I would lose sight of the ball,” said Buhowski.
Member Mike McCormack said,“I usually do not wear sunglasses when I play, but after wearing these, I will. The clarity was unlike any other sunglasses I have worn. I think it actually enhanced my vision.”
When asked if the Ventoux was a good value at $59.95, 92 percent of respondents said ‘yes’ with several testers agreeing with member Kevin Farrell that the extra lenses are “like having three pairs of glasses for the price of one.”
The Ventoux is featured in the December 2008/January 2009 issue of PGA Tour Partners magazine. More information on the Tifosi Optics Ventoux and other golf-specific lens technology is available at www.tifosioptics.com.
